After 2 years of postponement due to the covid pandemic WE ARE BACK! Come join us at the 2nd annual SOS VSAR Golf tournament. What is the SOS VSAR you may ask? Supporting our Searchers for Vernon Search and Rescue is an event created by Jody and Cheryl Lambert as a fundraising effort for our local search and rescue organization.
On January 21, 2018, Brett Lambert, son of Jody and Cheryl Lambert, was snowmobiling in the Okanagan backcountry when he got separated from his group. After missing with no contact for 2 hours, Vernon Search and Rescue were mobilized through the instruction of the local 911 dispatcher. In the early hours of the next day, Brett was found by helicopter, shaken up but safe. This is just one example of what VSAR strives to do for our community.

There are only a specific number of tickets for the full golf and dinner and just the dinner, so don’t delay! If you purchase a golf ticket, dinner is included. If you have a non-golfer who would like to join for dinner, a “dinner only” ticket must be purchased.
